Terms and Conditions of Carriage
Premise and Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions of Transport govern the relationship between end users of transportation services (hereinafter, the "Users") and BusForFun.com S.r.l. (hereinafter, "BusForFun"), as well as the methods of provision of transportation services provided by third-party operators (hereinafter, the "Suppliers").
"Busrapido" is a registered trademark owned by BusForFun and identifies all the services offered via the digital platform, as well as the management, customer service, and operational support activities performed by designated personnel (hereinafter, the "Platform").
BusForFun acts as the User's contractual counterparty in relation to the booking, payment, and management of the service, including on behalf of the passengers transported.
The transportation service booked is, however, physically performed by third-party Suppliers, who operate with full organizational autonomy, in compliance with applicable regulations regarding transportation, safety, authorizations, and licenses.
It is understood that BusForFun, although it is the sole interface for the User and the entity with which the contractual relationship exists, does not assume the role of carrier and is not directly responsible for the execution of the transport service, which remains entirely the responsibility of the Supplier.
Service Program and Travel Route
The travel route is determined based on the option the Supplier deems most economical and safe for both parties. Busrapido will then communicate this to the User.
The program is agreed upon between the Parties during the quote phase.
For any changes during the route, BusForFun must be notified, and will be responsible for verifying feasibility subject to the Supplier's authorization. The change will be noted directly on the driver's travel document and countersigned by the customer.
Departure Location (Pick-up)
It is the User's responsibility to ensure that the indicated departure address allows for easy loading and unloading. If the vehicle is unable to reach the requested pick-up location, the Supplier reserves the right to change the departure address requested by the User to one closer to the pickup location.
General regulations for passengers on board
The User is required to prepare a list of the names of passengers participating in the trip and undertakes to present it or send a copy if requested by the authorities or BusForFun. This list is mandatory at all times.
It is strictly forbidden for the passenger to shouting, making noise, or doing anything that might disturb the driver; smoking in the rental vehicle; this prohibition also includes e-cigarettes; consuming meals and/or alcoholic beverages on board; standing in the aisle during the journey; obstructing the passageways and boarding areas; tampering with the vehicle's equipment; boarding while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
Any behavior other than that described above will authorize the Supplier - through its delegated drivers - to take action, such as refusing transportation to any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs or who constitutes a potential danger to the driver of the vehicle and to other passengers.
Regulations for minor passengers
Minors may travel on Busrapido services in compliance with applicable laws and these Conditions of Carriage.
Minors under the age of 10 must travel accompanied by a parent, guardian, or other authorized adult.
Minors between the ages of 10 and 17 may travel unaccompanied only with prior written authorization from the person with parental responsibility, which must be presented upon request by inspectors.
Parents or guardians are solely responsible for the correct completion of the required documentation; compliance with applicable national and international travel regulations; the minor's behavior during the trip.
BusForFun does not provide assistance or supervision services for unaccompanied minors.
In the event of failure to comply with these provisions, BusForFun reserves the right to deny boarding without reimbursement.
Regulation for Passengers with Disabilities or Reduced Mobility
BusForFun guarantees respect for the rights of passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility pursuant to Regulation (EU) No. 181/2011, ensuring non-discriminatory access to the service at no additional cost.
Passengers with PRM are invited to contact Customer Service well in advance of departure to arrange the necessary assistance, compatible with the characteristics of the vehicle and infrastructure.
The transportation of mobility aids (e.g., folding wheelchairs, walkers) is free of charge, within the technical and safety limits of the vehicle.
Where necessary, and upon prior notification, the companion of a passenger with disabilities may travel free of charge, in accordance with applicable regulations.
BusForFun may refuse to transport PRM passengers solely for safety reasons or technical impossibility, providing adequate justification and proposing, where possible, an alternative.
Guide dogs for the blind are permitted on board free of charge.
Passenger Responsibilities for International Travel
Quotes and reservations for bus rentals outside of Italy are currently not available.
Pre-Trip Communications
The driver's mobile phone number will be communicated to the User the day before the trip no earlier than 8:00 PM.
Transport Service Costs
The price includes vehicle rental, driver labor, utilities (fuel, lubricants, antifreeze, etc.), highway tolls, and third-party insurance.
Additional expenses for transportation service, damage, repairs, and cleaning of the vehicle.
BusForFun undertakes to inform the User in advance of all expenses of which it is aware. Please note that some costs are set by the municipality and are therefore subject to periodic and unpredictable changes.
Unless otherwise specified at the time of booking, the expenses to be borne by the User are:
the driver's food and lodging expenses for multi-day trips;
parking, limited traffic passes, checkpoints, city entrance fees, ferries, tunnels, bridges, mountain passes, and other similar expenses;
Any changes to the route or schedule that result in the Supplier incurring charges in excess of those agreed upon at the time of booking.
The User will be responsible for the cost of repairing any damage or for necessary cleaning to the Supplier's vehicles and property, if such damage and necessary cleaning exceed normal wear and tear and are attributable to the User.
As a passenger, the User is responsible for leaving the rental vehicle in the condition it was in at the time of departure. The User acknowledges and agrees that he or she is responsible for his or her own acts or omissions, as well as the acts or omissions of any individual he or she invites, or is otherwise permitted, to access the rental vehicle. In the event that a Supplier complains and provides proof of damage, the User agrees to reimburse, through BusForFun, the cost of replacing the damaged items.
The User is responsible for proving that the damage was not caused by him or her or that the amount of the damage is less than the amount charged.
Luggage Transport
One piece of personal luggage per passenger, with maximum dimensions of 40 x 30 x 20 cm, is always included in the service. Any additional luggage is accepted only within the vehicle's maximum luggage capacity.
Responsibility for loading and unloading luggage remains solely with the User. The driver or other on-board personnel are under no obligation to handle luggage.
For clarifications or specific requests, please contact Customer Service directly.
Any assistance provided by the driver or other on-board personnel in loading, unloading, or handling luggage is intended solely as a courtesy. In any case, the User is solely responsible for the luggage and its contents, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
The vehicle's luggage compartment may only be opened and closed by authorized personnel (drivers or other designated personnel).
BusForFun is not responsible for lost, stolen, or exchanged luggage, including in cases resulting from vehicle accidents. It is not responsible for damage or breakage caused to passengers' luggage or its packaging. BusForFun also assumes no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage to any valuables, such as cash, jewelry, precious metals, keys, sunglasses and/or eyeglasses, electronic devices (laptops, iPads, tablets, MP3 players, cell phones, cameras), contact lenses, prosthetics, medications, important documents, etc., or any fragile items. In the event of lost luggage or other items, BusForFun, through the Supplier, will make every effort to verify their recovery. It is the passenger's responsibility to recover the items or to cover any costs associated with their return.
Transport of Pets
The transportation of animals of any kind is not permitted without prior written authorization from BusForFun through the Supplier. If authorized, animals must be kept in compliance with current regulations and the conditions established by BusForFun. In particular, they must be equipped, where applicable, with a leash, muzzle, and/or a suitable carrier. The owner or keeper of the animal remains fully responsible for any damage caused to people, the vehicle, or property during transportation, and is required to immediately compensate for any damage caused.
Waiting Times, Pick-ups, and Overtime
The User agrees to adhere to the times agreed upon when booking the transportation service.
When booking single or multiple transfers, the vehicle will wait for passengers at the agreed-upon pick-up point for a maximum of 30 minutes, after which the Provider will be deemed free of any obligation and the transportation service will be considered completed. In this case, no refund will be issued to the User.
If a wait exceeding 20 minutes is required, the User must notify us prior to the transportation service. If the Provider is unable to accommodate the request, the User will be charged €100 for each additional hour of waiting.
When booking a transportation service with the "I want the coach available" option, the vehicle will be available to passengers from the earliest time until the latest time indicated at the time of booking.
If the User requests an extension of the booked transportation service, the User must notify the Provider prior to the transportation service. If the Provider is able to accommodate the request and complies with the "General Rules for Drivers' Driving and Rest Times" set forth in Section 16, the User will be charged €100 for each additional hour of service.
Vehicle Used for the Service
BusForFun does not guarantee the availability of a specific vehicle model. Any vehicle images and models shown on the Platform are for illustrative purposes only.
BusForFun reserves the right, for operational or organizational reasons, to allow the Provider to replace the scheduled vehicle with another vehicle of equivalent or superior characteristics, without this entailing any right to complaints, compensation, or price reductions on the User's part.
Use of seat belts and on-board behavior
Each passenger is required to comply with the provisions of Article 16 of the Italian Civil Code. 172 of the Highway Code, as amended by Legislative Decree No. 150 of March 13, 2006, implementing Directive 2003/20/EC, regarding the mandatory use of seat belts and child restraint systems in vehicles.
Passengers are therefore required to wear seat belts during the journey. Failure to do so will result in the offender being personally liable for any fines provided for by applicable law; for minors, liability falls on the accompanying adult or the person responsible for their supervision.
Any fines or violations issued to BusForFun during the performance of the service, but attributable to the passenger's behavior (for example, but not limited to: failure to wear seat belts, requesting or stopping in unauthorized places, etc.), will be charged to the user, along with any administrative costs incurred for handling the related matter.
Travel Times
Please note that the travel times indicated on the BusForFun Platform at the time of booking are purely indicative. The departure and arrival times displayed are approximate travel estimates, calculated based on calculations provided by Google Maps™ or other navigation systems.
It is the User's responsibility to plan their travel schedule, allowing sufficient time for any connections with other means of transportation or for personal or professional commitments.
BusForFun cannot be held liable for any missed connections with other transportation services, whether land, sea, air, or rail, regardless of the cause of the delay beyond the estimated arrival time, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Risky Trips and Special Events
The User is required to inform BusForFun at least 14 (fourteen) days before the scheduled departure date if the requested service concerns or is connected to events that may pose particular risks to the safety of people, the vehicle, or personnel.
By way of example and not limited to, "risky trips" include services related to football matches, derbies, sporting events, concerts, public demonstrations, parades, political events, or other situations where a significant presence of law enforcement or potential public order issues is foreseeable.
In such cases, BusForFun reserves the right to:
refuse the booking or terminate the contract;
request special conditions for the provision of the service, such as additional safety features, the presence of a group leader designated by the User, or the payment of a deposit to cover any damage to the vehicle;
modify, where necessary, operating procedures, routes, and passenger pick-up or drop-off points, in compliance with the instructions of the competent authorities.
If the User fails to communicate the "risk-bearing nature of the trip" as defined above, BusForFun reserves the right to cancel the service before the start of the trip or to interrupt it even during the trip if conditions arise that compromise the safety of the service, personnel, or vehicle.
In such circumstances, the User will not be entitled to any refund or compensation, except in the case of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of BusForFun. The User also remains responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle or to third parties by passengers.
Rules on Driving and Rest Times for Drivers
To avoid any unpleasant misunderstandings with the User and passengers, bus drivers are required to comply with current regulations regarding driving and rest periods.
To meet safety requirements, the transport service must comply with EU Regulation No. 561/2006, which allows a driving time of: maximum 9 hours of driving per day; maximum 10 hours of driving per day twice a week; maximum 56 hours of driving per week (four 9-hour days and two 10-hour days); maximum 90 hours of driving in any two-week period.
The driver's daily driving hours also include the driving time required to reach the departure address indicated by the User, departing from the Supplier's office/garage, and returning to the Supplier's office/garage at the end of the journey.
The driver is required by law to take a break every 4.5 hours of driving. The break may be taken in one of two ways, a single break of 45 consecutive minutes, after 4.5 hours of driving; two mandatory breaks of at least 15 and 30 minutes each, within the 4.5 hours of driving.
The second break must be 30 minutes long, even if the first break lasted more than 15 minutes. If necessary, the driver may increase the number and duration of driving breaks at his or her discretion.
The driver must rest for 11 consecutive hours within a 24-hour period, with the possibility of exemptions three days per week, but in any case, never less than 9 consecutive hours.
The driver is entitled to a rest period of at least 24 consecutive hours for every six days of service. The regular rest period is 45 consecutive hours. If the driver rests for a shorter period (for example, 24 hours), the difference, plus the corresponding increase, must be made up within the following three weeks.
The maximum daily commitment of the Driver is 13 hours. The maximum daily commitment also includes the driving time required to reach the departure address indicated by the User, departing from the Supplier's office/garage, and to return to the Supplier's office/garage at the end of the journey.
If two drivers are employed who alternate driving the vehicle, both must be able to take an uninterrupted 9-hour daily rest period every 30 hours.
Failure to comply with these rules will result in the deduction of 2 points from the driver's license, in addition to the bus being held on the spot. Therefore, please be understanding towards drivers if they are unable to make or extend a visit, perhaps even a last-minute request, especially at night, or to make a detour.
Driver Tips
The fee paid by the User through the Platform includes remuneration for the services provided.
There is therefore no obligation to leave a tip for the driver. However, if the User or passengers wish to make a voluntary contribution to the driver as a reward for the service received, this is considered optional and at their discretion.
Limitation of Liability and Indemnity of the BusRapido Platform
BusForFun S.r.l., through the Platform, acts exclusively as a technological and commercial intermediary to allow the User to book transportation services provided by third-party operators.
The User acknowledges that, although booking, payment, and communications take place exclusively through the Platform, the actual performance of the transportation service is the responsibility of the Supplier.
The Platform does not guarantee: the availability, punctuality, quality, or suitability of the vehicles; the qualifications, professionalism, or conduct of the Supplier's personnel; the proper performance of the transport service according to the terms agreed with the User; connections with other means of transport or adherence to schedules outside of the booked service.
Except in cases of proven fraud or gross negligence on the part of the Platform, BusForFun cannot be held liable under any circumstances for: delays, cancellations, or changes to the service; damage to persons, property, or luggage occurring during transport; disruptions caused by external events, such as traffic, weather conditions, strikes, accidents, road closures, public order, or force majeure; indirect economic or financial losses, such as missed connections, missed events, or lost earnings; or the conduct of Supplier personnel or passengers.
The User agrees to indemnify and hold BusForFun harmless from any claim, legal action, request for compensation, or complaint arising directly or indirectly from the performance of the transport service booked through the Platform, with the exception of damages resulting from fraud or gross negligence related to the Platform itself.
Any disputes relating to the transport service may be raised through the Platform, which will provide operational support as a courtesy, without assuming any direct responsibility for the outcome of the dispute.
Force Majeure
Force majeure means any unforeseeable, extraordinary, unavoidable event, or event beyond the control of either Party, the occurrence of which is not due to conduct or omissions attributable to that Party and which, by its nature and extent, is such as to oblige the Party to perform a positive or negative action incompatible with the fulfillment, even partial, of its contractual obligations. By way of example and not limited to, force majeure includes the following events: pandemic, war, military mobilization, insurrection, requisition, international sanctions, seizure, embargo, general strike, labor disputes, lockdowns, transport disruptions, natural disasters, disasters, fires, adverse weather conditions, street protests, nuclear splitting, terrorist acts, corporate disasters, and similar events, even if they affect the supply chain of necessary components and services.
If such events occur, the Party intending to invoke force majeure must notify the other Party, specifying their specific effects on the performance of the contractual obligations. In such cases, the Parties will consult to take the necessary actions and find a possible solution to cancel and/or reduce the effects of such events. In any case, the Party invoking force majeure must demonstrate that its breach was caused by an event beyond its control and not attributable to the Party. It must therefore demonstrate that it exercised due diligence to foresee and prevent, to the extent possible, the occurrence of the related and consequential effects of such events, which could not reasonably be avoided and/or remedied. Force majeure cannot be invoked for breaches already in progress at the time of the force majeure event.
In the event of an emerging pandemic, neither Party may invoke force majeure in relation to any events or actions of the authorities that were already known at the time of signing this Agreement. However, they may invoke force majeure in the event of regulatory measures or developments in the health situation that could not have been foreseen with the use of ordinary diligence, subsequent to the signing of this Agreement. If the force majeure event persists beyond the suspension period agreed upon by the Parties, each Party shall have the right to withdraw from this Agreement, without any claim for compensation or damages being made in response to such withdrawal. In any case, the Parties' previous performance and obligations accrued up to the date of withdrawal shall remain unaffected.
By way of example, the following constitute force majeure events or events beyond BusForFun's control: changes to the planned itinerary due to road closures due to weather conditions, closure of mountain passes or roads due to snow, the holding of sporting events, demonstrations, obstacles, dangerous situations, or any other type of problem not attributable to BusForFun; impossibility of continuing the service due to unforeseeable circumstances, such as roadblocks, strikes, lockouts, work stoppages, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disasters, fires or severe weather conditions, unforeseeable transportation problems, port and airport closures or congestion, accidents on the service route, unexpected traffic, riots, technical problems, or local unrest; technical problems or possible breakdown of the rental vehicle during the trip, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of BusForFun. If a breakdown or technical problem occurs, and/or the service must be interrupted due to vehicle failure, BusForFun undertakes to organize a replacement service to allow the User to reach the final destination and will do its best to continue the service with the least possible inconvenience to passengers. The cost of the replacement service will be borne by BusForFun.
Payment Methods
Payment for vehicle rental can be made online using the following payment methods: Credit card (Mastercard/Visa/Amex)

Complaints and Refunds, Compensation Requests and User Protection
BusForFun operates in compliance with the passenger rights set forth in Regulation (EU) No. 181/2011, applicable to bus transport services.
In the event of service cancellation, significant delay in departure or arrival, or interruption of the journey attributable to BusForFun, the passenger is entitled, within the limits and under the conditions established by applicable law, to assistance measures, a refund of the price of the service for the portion not used, and, where possible, re-routing on an alternative service at no additional cost.
Specifically, for scheduled or similar services with a distance of 250 km or more, in the event of cancellation or a delay in departure of more than 120 minutes, the passenger has the right to choose between continuing the journey to the final destination at no additional cost or a refund for the portion of the journey not completed and, if applicable, for the portion already completed if the service is no longer consistent with the original schedule. In the cases provided for by law, financial compensation of up to 50% of the price of the service may also be awarded.
For private rental services (such as buses, minibuses, or vans with drivers booked on an individual basis), refunds in the event of cancellation, delay, or interruption attributable to the provider will be limited to the price of the unused service or, where possible, to its rescheduling. Any further compensation is excluded, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
With regard to services organized for events, demonstrations, concerts, fairs, or other initiatives with high demand, the Customer acknowledges that such services are characterized by advance planning and non-reschedulable operational commitments. Therefore, in the event of cancellation or modification of the service attributable to BusForFun, only a refund of the price paid for the unused service will be granted, excluding any further compensation or indemnity, except in cases provided for by law.
During the wait, in the cases provided for by applicable law, adequate assistance may be provided, compatible with the specific circumstances and to the extent possible, such as refreshments, meals, or accommodation, depending on the duration of the disruption.
It is understood that no refund or compensation will be due in cases where the cancellation, delay, or interruption of the service is caused by unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances, such as, but not limited to, adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, health emergencies, acts of the authorities, or exceptional and unforeseeable traffic situations.
Requests for refunds, complaints, or compensation must be submitted to Busrapido Customer Service by email customercare@busrapido.com no later than three months after the service was performed or should have been performed, accompanied by appropriate documentation. Busrapido will provide a response within one month of receiving the complaint and a final decision within three months, in accordance with applicable law.
Any refunds granted will be processed within a reasonable timeframe, and in any case no later than 14 days after confirmation, using the same payment method used by the passenger, unless otherwise agreed.
User Protection and Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law and must be interpreted in accordance with mandatory consumer protection provisions.
In any case, the User, if classified as a consumer under applicable law, retains the right to avail himself of the protections provided by the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) and any other applicable legislation regarding passenger rights and carrier liability.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions may be interpreted as a limitation or exclusion of the rights granted to the User by mandatory provisions of law.
Any complaints may be submitted via the Platform at the email address . The User may also use the alternative dispute resolution tools provided by applicable law, including the European ODR (Online Dispute Resolution) platform.
The regulatory and supervisory authorities retain jurisdiction over the protection of passenger rights.

Complaints and requests received after the aforementioned 30-day period (where available) will be rejected, and the claimant will waive any right to compensation (for damages or costs).
Any discrepancies or inconsistencies regarding the Transportation Service booked on the Platform (for example: a vehicle with inferior features to the booked vehicle) must be reported in writing via email to customercare@busrapido.com at the start of the trip, failing which any subsequent complaints or requests for compensation will be invalid.
For requests received after the 30-day period, Busrapido may, in exceptional cases and at its sole discretion, decide to offer the User a travel credit of an amount less than or equal to the amount requested. The credit is valid for 365 days, after which it will be considered expired.
Right of withdrawal - Cancellations and refunds
The services offered through the platform consist of passenger transportation services with a specific date or period of performance. Therefore, pursuant to Article 59 of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), the right of withdrawal pursuant to Articles 52 et seq. of the same decree does not apply to customers who qualify as consumers.
The Customer may, however, request cancellation of the reservation at any time before the start of the service by sending written notice to . The penalties applied are established pursuant to Articles 1322 and 1373 of the Italian Civil Code and constitute an advance, lump-sum settlement of damages resulting from the cancellation, taking into account the organization of the service, resource planning, and costs incurred. Any refunds will be made, where applicable, within a reasonable timeframe and in any case no later than 14 days from confirmation of the cancellation, using the same payment method used by the Customer, unless otherwise agreed.
For customers acting in the exercise of business or professional activities (B2B), the provisions of the Consumer Code do not apply, and these conditions fully govern the right of cancellation and the related financial consequences, unless otherwise agreed in writing between the parties.
